Goodbye to the Enterprise Hub
The East Sussex Enterprise Hub contract ends on December 31st after four years of providing support and advice to local companies. Hub Director Jim Christy wanted to thank all their business clients and network partners:
“I’m really grateful for all their help and support over the last four years. Working together we have managed to raise £5.5m in business investment. I would also like to wish everybody a happy Christmas and prosperous 2010!”
The Enterprise Hub has been successful in helping to provide high quality, relevant business information and advice to local companies, particularly those with growth plans or new products. Over 150 business events have been held over the four years – with recent events such as The Carbon Workshop at the Azur and the Environmental Technology event at the Energy Centre both attracting over 100 representatives from the local business community.
The Enterprise Hub Network contained 22 Hubs across the south east, part of the South East England Development Agency’s business support programme. From January 2010, Business Link will be the central contact point for business enquiries, whilst for specialist high growth business support SEEDA’s Innovation and Growth Teams based across the South East will also be available to help.
