Internship programme - An offer you can’t refuse!

It isn’t often that a gilt-edged offer with no strings attached comes along – but the recent launch of the Sussex Internship Programme is a unique opportunity for local companies to bring in leading graduate talent to work on new projects.

The Sussex Internship Programme offers local businesses access to talented graduates, locally based and with expertise across all disciplines from universities throughout the UK.

The programme is being offered in partnership with Wired Sussex to deliver 175 graduate internships in the county.

The internship will provide a minimum 20 day placement within any small to medium sized company in Sussex. For companies with more than 30 employees, the programme is offered within specific sectors, including digital, design, environmental, life science and pharmaceutical, advanced engineering and manufacturing, professional and financial services. The placement can support any aspect of the business with employers expected to pay the graduate at the minimum wage.

The programme offers a cost effective contribution to a project or development of your choice in any aspect of your company that will benefit the graduate with valuable work experience.

You are able to choose the project and develop the person specification. Following agreement on the specifics of the internships, the company is able to select candidates, interview and make the final decision and can expect support from the Internship programme throughout the placement.
