National success for University Centre Hastings
University Centre Hastings (UCH), the home of the University of Brighton in Hastings, won national recognition at this year's prestigious Times Higher Education awards ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel in London (on 15 October 2009).

Horizons adult education centre 'bank' brilliant results
Horizons Adult Community Learning Project are celebrating record GCSE and NVQ results this Friday 16th October with a visit from Barclays Bank who have supported their endeavours with a donation of £100,000.

University Centre Hastings awarded extra places
University Centre Hastings (UCH) has received a significant boost by being awarded with 85 additional places from university funding body, HEFCE (Higher Education Funding Council for England). This is nearly 10 per cent of the total national allocation of 900 places for all universities in England. It reflects the success of the university, which opened in 2003, has had on its students and the wider regeneration of the town.
